So here I am standing in a Barnes and Noble trying to get a book for my English class and what do I see: this ugly face torn off of a perfectly good painting. So, naturally I picked it up, read the back, and put it down. I receive no amusement in the reconstruction of a masterpiece in this format. I am sure most you will disagree but I disagree with your disagreement. I just judged a book by its cover, yet again. I love the original and dismembering it, as this book seems to of done leaves me with knots in my stomach. I’m not the biggest fan of this new zombie craze to begin with. So, if you are like me and want to keep to the originals, stay away from this rewrite from 2008. As for the analysis of the cover itself, yes the concept of the novel shines through.
